- Disk Space
Disk space refers to the amount of server disk storage your account is allocated. This space is used to store all your website files. Our web hosting plans offer generous amounts of disk space starting from 10MB.
- Data Transfer
Is the amount of data permitted to be sent to and from your website per month. It is also commonly referred to as traffic. Total traffic is comprised of website traffic (http & https), FTP (normal & anonymous), Real Media (if you are using it), and email.
- Domain Forwarding
This allows the pointing of a domain name to any website or web page. For example, customers looking for www.yourdomain.com are instantly redirected to www.yourdomain.com.au or www.yourdomain.com.au/yourproduct.html. This service is useful for businesses wanting to point multiple domain names at a single website, like product names, etc. If your company and product names are important to you, you may want to own rights to those respective domain names globally as well as locally.
- Domain Cloaking
This allows your registered domain to be pointed to another web page and the underlying web address remains hidden in the browser. For eg: visitors looking for www.yourdomain.com.au are instantly redirected to www.yourisp.com.au/~user/index.html. The visitors will see www.yourdomain.com.au in the browser and not the ISP address.
- Hosting Control Panel
Our web based Hosting Control Panel allows you the freedom to manage your hosting account quickly and simply online. You can manage your email, FTP services, databases, password protect directories, and much more. View your disk space usage,data transfer and website statistics. Through the control panel we also provide comprehensive documentation and useful resources to help you administer your website. For your security, the control panel is password-protected.
- Catch-all Mailbox
A catch-all, or default email address allows you to "catch all" email messages addressed to a non-existent recipient at your domain name, and redirect them to a valid destination. Catch-alls prevent such email messages from being returned as undeliverable. For example you may have setup sales@yourdomain.com, but someone accidentally sends an email to sale@yourdomain.com. By using an email address to 'catch' these unspecified emails you will still receive the email and not lose any important messages.
- POP3 Mailbox
All our hosting packages allow you to setup POP3 Mailboxes using your hosted domain. For example, info@yourdomain.com.au. We allow you to send and receive email through our mail server, a feature not allowed by many hosting companies. You can create and manage your own mailboxes through your Hosting Control Panel.
- Quota Per Mailbox
This is the total amount of space that can be used for each POP3 Mailbox at any one time.
- Email Redirect
You can redirect email received to any of your POP3 mailboxes to any other email address. For example, you may choose to redirect all email addressed to you@yourdomain.com.au to you@yourisp.com.au.
- Mail Group
Mail groups allow you to send out emails to everyone subscribed to that mail group. For example you can create an email address mailout@yourdomain.com and add a list of email addresses under that mailgroup. Then when you send an email to mailout@yourdomain.com it will forward a copy automatically to everyone in that mailgroup without showing the distribution list.
- Autoresponder
An autoresponder allow you to specify a text message that will be automatically delivered to whoever sends an email to that email address. You can also specify the autoresponder to include an email attachment of your choice, plus many more additional features.
- WebMail
WebMail allows you to read, compose and manage your email messages through your browser, eliminating the need for email programs such as Microsoft Outlook. WebMail is perfect for those who travel frequently and can be accessed worldwide.
- Private FTP Access
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the method used to "upload" your website files located on your computer to the server. You have unlimited FTP access 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. You can make changes to your website at any time of the day and the changes occur instantly. You will require FTP software to use this service.
- Anonymous FTP Access
Anonymous FTP allows you to provide downloads to visitors to your website via FTP. Requires a dedicated IP Address.
- File Manager
Allows you to manage all your web site files via your browser and is accessible from your Hosting Control Panel.
- Web Users
This allows you to provide separate FTP accounts which have allocated web space for these users under your domain name, but without giving them access to your own web site files. For example you can create a sub user called 'friend' under your domain name. You then specify a password for username 'friend'. You now have provided a web site www.yourdomain.com/~friend with its own ftp access and a username and password that you chose. Sub FTP accounts can be setup and modified via the Web Users section of your Control Panel.
- Password Protected Directory
Allows you to make certain sections of your website only available to authorised users. Only people who have the username and password are able to access the password directory. You can set one username/password combination for all people to access to the password protected directory or assign a specific username/password combination for each person.
- Custom Error Pages
At one time or another, someone may access a page in your website that has been moved or no longer exists. Instead of them seeing the "Error 404 - This page does not exist", you can customise your error pages however you like, for example, to redirect your visitor to your home page. This will help to make sure your visitors stay within your website.
- Microsoft FrontPage 2002 Ext.
We provide the FrontPage 2002 extensions free of charge with all our hosting packages if you choose to have us install them. However they are only of any use if you actually use Microsoft® FrontPage® 2002, or any previous version of FrontPage, to create, edit, and maintain your website. If you decide to manage your site later with FrontPage just send us an email and we will install it free of charge. You can also request to have the FrontPage extensions removed at any time.

Allows you to use FrontPage over a secure connection.
- Private CGI-BIN
This feature allows you to upload and run your own PERL scripts and executables. There are thousands of free scripts available on the Internet including counters, form processing, search scripts and many more.
- Mod Perl
Mod Perl is a Perl interpreter built-in to an Apache web-server module. This lets you avoid the overhead of starting an external interpreter and avoids the penalty of Perl start-up time, giving you super-fast dynamic content.
- Apache ASP
Apache ASP provides an Active Server Pages port to the Apache Web Server with Perl scripting only, and enables developing of dynamic web applications with session management and embedded perl code.
- SSI - Server Side Includes
Server Side Includes allow you to insert files into your HTML pages on the server side. This means SSI isn't dependant on the clients browser. SSI is required by many scripts and can also save you hundreds of hours in web site maintenance by allowing you to edit just one page that has its content embedded throughout your site, effecting a change globally and avoiding having to edit each page one by one.
